it’s funny when i hear american people about driving between states or whatever for like 20 hours because
#ohmygod what #it takes longer for me to get to Edmonton than to drive across the UK? #UNFAIR
I know. Like, here is a thing that put the size issue in perspective for me:
The total area of Oregon is 98,381 sq mi (255,026 km2). The ENTIRE FREAKING UNITED KINGDOM is 94,060 sq mi (243,610 km2).
